How do you upgrade Veeam Backup & Replication to version 10a? In this short video we will be stepping through that, as well as our Enterprise Manager upgrade.

Before you complete this Veeam Backup & Replication upgrade, please ensure you have upgraded your Veeam ONE deployment first.

For those of you that like the down and dirty text to be on your way – KB 3228, and the following points should be enough.

  1. Verify you are running version 9.5 Update 3 (build 9.5.0.1536) or later
  2. Read https://www.veeam.com/kb3228
  3. Download ISO from bottom of KB article
  4. Disable Veeam backup jobs and close console
  5. Mount ISO
  6. Run Setup.exe
    ***If you DO NOT run Veeam Enterprise Manager skip to Step 10***
  7. Proceed through Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager “Upgrade”
  8. Restart machine
  9. Run Setup.exe again
    ***Skip to Here***
  10. Proceed through Veeam Backup & Replication “Upgrade”
  11. Verify version 10.0.1.4854
  12. Enable backup jobs
