How do you upgrade Veeam Backup & Replication to version 10a? In this short video we will be stepping through that, as well as our Enterprise Manager upgrade.
Before you complete this Veeam Backup & Replication upgrade, please ensure you have upgraded your Veeam ONE deployment first.
For those of you that like the down and dirty text to be on your way – KB 3228, and the following points should be enough.
- Verify you are running version 9.5 Update 3 (build 9.5.0.1536) or later
- Read https://www.veeam.com/kb3228
- Download ISO from bottom of KB article
- Disable Veeam backup jobs and close console
- Mount ISO
- Run Setup.exe
***If you DO NOT run Veeam Enterprise Manager skip to Step 10*** - Proceed through Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager “Upgrade”
- Restart machine
- Run Setup.exe again
***Skip to Here*** - Proceed through Veeam Backup & Replication “Upgrade”
- Verify version 10.0.1.4854
- Enable backup jobs
